*MIDGET/ADULT - 2007 players have the option to play in U18 or ADULT division

 

The SGBHL Spring season is set to start late April and end by mid-July

Timbits/Initiation

  • registration fee - $175
  • 4 teams of 16 total players/goalies available (more can be added depending on numbers)
  • registration closes once teams are full
  • 10-game season followed by 2 playoff games
  • games are on weekends, primarily one Saturday game with the odd Sunday game
  • one practice prior to the start of the season
  • register by using the appropriate link at the top of this page

Novice/Atom/PeeWee/Bantam/Midget

  • registration fee - $240 for individuals, or $4000/team
  • 4 teams of 16 total players/goalies available (more can be added depending on numbers)
  • registration closes once teams are full
  • 10-game season followed by 2 playoff games
  • games are on weekends, primarily one Saturday game with the odd Sunday game
  • one practice prior to the start of the season
  • register by using the appropriate link at the top of this page
  • depending on sponsorship, league will look to provide financial support for players requiring help with league fees
  • the SGBHL is sanctioned with Wild Rose Ball Hockey/Canada Ball Hockey, meaning we will be able to send teams to the 2025 Provincial Championships

*families that are registering more than one player in the Minor divisions will receive a $20 discount for each player beyond the first one registered

 

Mens/Womens/CO-ED/Masters

  • registration fee - $3000/team, $240/individuals without a team
  • teams can register as entire team
  • players can register as individual or be place on free agent list
  • free agents will be put onto teams accoring to skill, hockey history, and experience
  • typically 1 game/week (possibility of 2)
  • 12-game season followed by best-of-three playoff series
  • games may occur on any day of the week, schedule requests will be accepted to the best of our capabilities 
  • players must play 4-regular season games to be eligible for playoffs
  • depending on sponsorship, league will look to provide financial support for players requiring help with league fees
  • the SGBHL is sanctioned with Wild Rose Ball Hockey/Canada Ball Hockey, meaning we will be able to send teams to the 2025 Provincial Championships
